Job Description:
As a Farm Foreman Job, you will play a critical role in overseeing daily farm operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of our agricultural activities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising farm workers, assigning tasks, and ensuring operational efficiency.
- Overseeing daily farm operations, including planting, harvesting, and livestock care.
- Maintaining and ensuring the proper functioning of farm equipment.
- Keeping accurate records of farm activities, labor, crops, livestock, and equipment.
- Assisting in crop/livestock health management (feeding, watering, monitoring).
- Collaborating with the Farm Manager on operational plans and improvements.
- Managing worker performance, providing training, and offering constructive feedback.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Participating in farm improvements and upgrades as directed by the Farm Manager.
Requirements:
- 2 to 4 years of experience in farm management or a similar role.
- Strong leadership and team supervision skills.
- Knowledge of farm operations and equipment maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and follow the Farm Manager’s instructions.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
